Theres nothing worse than getting out of a hot shower or bath to have your toes frozen on a cold floor! A hand felted Alpaca bath matt is the ideal solution; Alpaca is wonderfully soft and because an Alpaca’s wool has hollow fibre’s it makes the felt feel warm to the touch.

“Spring Bunny” is the first amigurumi pattern that I’ve ever published!!! The Knit CamBRIDGE Project
“The work started in April of 2009, and was completed on September 11, 2010, when 16,000 zip ties were used to wrap the bridge in knitwear. Over 1,000 knitters from all over the world contributed – from the Cambridge area, from further afield in Canada, from the US, and from as far away as New Zealand. The oldest knitter participating was 103, the youngest 5. ” - Kate from Knitty Blog

“Hello! My name’s Spring Bunny. Miss Jo said I should say something about myself so umm… I LIKE CARROTS, but only really short chubby carrots! The long skinny ones are no fun to eat. And ummm… I’M TALL! I’m 14 inches tall! That’s like, SUPER tall! The other animals in our home are only as big as my EAR, so playing hide-and-seek with them is kinda hard. They find me too fast. :( If you’d like to learn more about me or my friends, please visit us at A Morning Cup of Jo Creations! Miss Jo will be introducing many new friends to our home in the months to come. Hope to see you there!” <3 Spring Bunny
I’m really excited to send off this bunny to her new family because she’ll be meeting a newborn baby very soon! :D Yay!
This energetic sweetheart has been a work-in-progress since January! Her ears and other limbs have been remade a few times, I experimented with different buttons, and I even crocheted a fat carrot for her. Redesigning last year’s bunnies has been a fun task, and I’m still working on the official 2012 design to turn into a crochet pattern. :)
Next up: spring bunnies with pink and green sweaters! :D

What color combinations (for the sweater and flower) do YOU think would be really cute???

I gave my Facebook fan page a face lift, and I’VE STARTED WORKING ON MY ONLINE SHOP (finally)!!! :D WOOHOO! If you’ve been following me for a long time, you probably understand how big of a deal this is to me. It’s all coming together slowly, but surely. I’ll be hard at work over the next few weeks, trying to squeeze in time to crochet, write patterns, and get the shop going.
In the meantime, let’s connect on Etsy and Facebook! :) I would love to add fellow Tumblarians to my circle on Etsy and see you all on Facebook.

A Morning Cup of Jo is ON HIATUS.
.
Without getting into too many details, life’s becoming more and more hectic! It’s come to the point where I can barely make any time to crochet (outrageous, right?) or sign on Tumblr (even more outrageous, RIGHT?!). For now, I need to slow things down. My personal crafts Tumblr may be updated once in a while, and I’ll still be running we-love-crocheting, but A Morning Cup of Jo needs to rest for a bit.
While I’m gone, feel free to SUBMIT YOUR WORK! I’ll try to reply to messages and publish posts whenever I can. :)
Thanks so much for following and being such a big part of this blog!!!
Have a happy month of March, and I’ll see you soon! <3
Cheers,
