Work-in-Progress pt. 3
Despite all of their hard work, Millie and Mumbles couldn’t save Nibbles! There was just too much sewing to do and too little time. :(
It seems that Z-Stanley may have a new friend after all…
.
For pt. 1 and pt. 2 of this amigurumi WIP adventure, visit my personal crafts Tumblr: A Morning Cup of Jo Creations! :)
Look at these needle-felted cuties!!! Made by Milo&Ben.
Having fun with work-in-progress photos! Visit A Morning Cup of Jo Creations to read more about these amigurumi. :)
Millie and Mumbles have been working very hard to put Nibbles back together after Z-Stanley (my zombie giraffe) tore him apart. More photos to come!
My first amigurumi design of 2012! Baby pandas!
Check out A Morning Cup of Jo Creations for more info and fun work-in-progress photos of my crocheted stuffies!
This little panda, and his very colorful panda friends, will be needing names! Any suggestions?
UPDATE: Thanks to eyesofalice, I’ve named my blue panda Nibbles! The black and white one is Mumbles. :P Thank you for all the suggestions!! More pandas are coming as my aunt, cousins, and I test my pattern. :)

A huge thank you to all new and longtime followers who’ve been a part of this blog in any way! Thank you for the laughs, the squees, and the good memories. :) I wish you much happiness this year, and the next, and the next.
Please stick around for lots of crafty craziness to come. Warning: my activity on A Morning Cup of Jo is slowing down a bit while I get everything else figured out (read more at: A Morning Cup of Jo Creations), so my apologies in advance for any neglect. I promise that I still love you all, and will forever love hearing from you. :)
On that note, let’s get the ball rolling! I’d greatly appreciate your feedback regarding some new ideas this year:
.
1. From my 2011 collection, which animal was your favorite? And for which one do you most want to see a crochet pattern?
.
2. What kinds of nature-inspired and eco-friendly party favors, details, or gifts do you think I should make for special events? My aunt and I have already brainstormed a list of crafts we really want to make for an online shop, and I’d love to hear your input as well!! :D
.
3. What new amigurumi animals/objects would you like me to design for you in 2012?
.
I’m (slowly) archiving my own craft creations on another Tumblr: A Morning Cup of Jo Creations! If you like reading more about the thoughts, stories, and process that go into each piece, come check it out sometime. :)

New Blog: A Morning Cup of Jo Creations
The “MY CREATIONS! :)” page was becoming too cumbersome, so I’m now archiving my crocheted/sewn goodies in a separate Tumblr! :) I’ll still be doing my thing on A Morning Cup of Jo, but the other blog will be dedicated solely to my own designs. It’s like a “behind the scenes” look into my creations! If reading more about these little creatures interests you, please stop by sometime! :D

I am soooo thankful for the support and dedication you’ve shown during this past month!! We probably won’t meet my goal of raising $3,000 for charities, but you’ve helped raise quite a bit of money already just by taking the time to vote! I’m just happy to be surrounded by such caring people. :)
I know the days leading up to Christmas are the most hectic for some of us (anyone else procrastinate on Christmas shopping as much as me? I’m STILL not done!! >.<), so a HUGE “thank you” in advance to those of you who are planning to take time out of your busy schedules to vote. <3
Most important, I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with tons of fun memories and GREAT FOOD! :D Take care!

April 2011: I’ve crocheted another baby giraffe! This is Little Raffie, and he is slightly different from his brother. As I’m getting the hang of amigurumi, I’ve been having a lot of fun making these guys. :)
From my December 2011 perspective: When comparing my new amigurumi to these older ones, switching to a smaller hook and tighter tension made a HUGE difference.

NEW BLOG! :D I’m in the process of moving the posts from my “MY CREATIONS! :)” page into a new Tumblr. Finallyyyyy. :)

Speak for the Speechless! Defend the Defenseless!
ARM THE ANIMALS!!! Saving lives one shirt at a time.
“Arm The Animals creates killer T-Shirts that make a statement, raise awareness, and generate funds for small, struggling animal rescues. We know we can’t save every “at-risk” animal, but we CAN save some! By creating funny, unique, witty graphic T-Shirts and accessories, we know we can raise awareness about animal welfare AND make a difference by donating to shelters! So, every month we donate a very generous portion of every sale we make to reputable shelters - no matter what!” (To read more about their MISSION, click here!)
“Like” them on Facebook, share your design ideas and photos, and receive updates on their latest events and animal rescue news!
.
I personally know one of the owners of this small business and his family, and they’re really good people who truly DO care about this cause. They put in long hours to help spread awareness, and the small, NO-KILL shelters that they help are extremely grateful for their efforts.
The “Cat-astrophe” design is my favorite because we rescued a tiny kitten 2 years ago and he’s been living with us since! Some of you may know him:

Reply with a photo and/or story! :) Have you adopted/saved any animals?
