http://www.craftsy.com/user/pattern/store/476288
“Spring Bunny” is the first amigurumi pattern that I’ve ever published!!! This is a huge accomplishment in my crafting life, and I want to thank you all for being so encouraging throughout this entire experience. I’m so happy that I feel like frolicking in circles right now, throwing imaginary confetti and singing my heart out — and that’s an understatement. :P These Spring Bunnies will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that you’ll enjoy crocheting them as much as I did. ♥
Please come back and share photos of your bunny’s adventures!!! They’ll be featured in our “Travel Log” photo album on Facebook.
Thank again for your never-ending support and encouragement! ♥ ♥ ♥
Cheers!

“Hello! My name’s Spring Bunny. Miss Jo said I should say something about myself so umm… I LIKE CARROTS, but only really short chubby carrots! The long skinny ones are no fun to eat. And ummm… I’M TALL! I’m 14 inches tall! That’s like, SUPER tall! The other animals in our home are only as big as my EAR, so playing hide-and-seek with them is kinda hard. They find me too fast. :( If you’d like to learn more about me or my friends, please visit us at A Morning Cup of Jo Creations! Miss Jo will be introducing many new friends to our home in the months to come. Hope to see you there!” <3 Spring Bunny
I’m really excited to send off this bunny to her new family because she’ll be meeting a newborn baby very soon! :D Yay!
This energetic sweetheart has been a work-in-progress since January! Her ears and other limbs have been remade a few times, I experimented with different buttons, and I even crocheted a fat carrot for her. Redesigning last year’s bunnies has been a fun task, and I’m still working on the official 2012 design to turn into a crochet pattern. :)
Next up: spring bunnies with pink and green sweaters! :D

WOOHOO!!! I posted my first listing on Etsy!!! GOAL ACHIEVED. These Chinese Wedding Dolls were crocheted as a Custom Order for my first international client (as well as my first Etsy customer!). I have no words for how ecstatic I am right now… so I’ll just do a happy dance. :D
They are about 8” tall, so they’ll be perfect as table decor at their wedding reception. More important, these soft sculptures will happily inhabit a cozy little corner of the newlyweds’ home, serving as a reminder of one of the happiest days of their lives! :)
I am very honored to have worked with Kevin on this creation, and I’m excited to send these sweethearts off to their new home.<3 Josephine

It’s time to take a big step forward!!! :D
I gave my Facebook fan page a face lift, and I’VE STARTED WORKING ON MY ONLINE SHOP (finally)!!! :D WOOHOO! If you’ve been following me for a long time, you probably understand how big of a deal this is to me. It’s all coming together slowly, but surely. I’ll be hard at work over the next few weeks, trying to squeeze in time to crochet, write patterns, and get the shop going.
In the meantime, let’s connect on Etsy and Facebook! :) I would love to add fellow Tumblarians to my circle on Etsy and see you all on Facebook.

April 3, 2012.
I finally found a bit of time to crochet today (it’s been a few weeks since the last time I crocheted)! As short-lived as this joy was, finishing a few rows of my Spring Bunny’s head was very rewarding. :) I have this week off from one of my jobs and my volunteering gig, so this is my chance to take a break from the chaos and catch up on my classwork/reading (and do some amigurumi during study breaks)!
This month, I aim to finish crocheting and writing patterns for my Spring Bunny and Baby Panda, start my online shop (GAH I’ve been wanting to do this for soooooo long), finish crocheting the Chinese Wedding Dolls and get them shipped safely to Canada, design/buy business cards, dedicate some time to my blogs/messages/emails because I’ve been M.I.A. (I’m so sorry!), finish planning my Girl Scout troop’s environmentalism journey: “It’s Our Planet — Love It!” (field trips, troop meetings, activities, etc.), start my third part-time job, have a successful mentoring experience with 6th graders during the first part of their 6-week program, continue to create/find happiness in each day, and continue loving life! :P Phew! Thinking about all of these goals feels really overwhelming right now, but I know I can accomplish a lot if I focus… and drink lots of coffee. I’ll just take this one To-Do List at a time. :)
I love making to-do lists… and I love checking off the little boxes even more.
Anyway, I better get to it! I must squeeze the most out of each day! :P
Take care, and I hope you’re all doing fantastically well!
<3 Josephine
Questions for you: How have you been, and what have you been up to? What are YOUR plans for the month of April?
I’ll be back on A Morning Cup of Jo and answering your messages ASAP!!! Life’s been crazy, but I’m itching to make time to be back on Tumblr. :P Thank you for continuing to follow this blog and for being so kind!!! <3
