Submitted by brookeworm: my newest piece. as most of my friends and family know, giraffes are my favorite thing. this is my first real attempt at painting something completely inspired by that love. (I think I’ve been so scared of not doing them justice that I just haven’t). But, he turned out awesome. “Stand Tall” is my new favorite piece.

The Knit CamBRIDGE Project
“The work started in April of 2009, and was completed on September 11, 2010, when 16,000 zip ties were used to wrap the bridge in knitwear. Over 1,000 knitters from all over the world contributed – from the Cambridge area, from further afield in Canada, from the US, and from as far away as New Zealand. Submitted by draa: Fox Companion- I made this for someone special. It’s pose-able, lightly stuffed and has magnets in the paws so it can sometimes grab things haha.
I sculpted the head first, making each part until I was happy with it and baked lightly to secure it (It’s made from sculptey). When everything was done, I sanded it down to make it smooth.
Then I made the wireframe for the body, which included the arms/legs and tail. I also made the paws afterwords and baked them directly onto the armature wire.
Painted the head, sleepy eyes! Then using whatever fabric I had at home I made it some clothes and a fluffy tail. It’s kinda hard to see but it’s holding onto a blue heart haha.
Stands about 5 inches tall :)

Meet Amigurumi Sir Miniopoly. He’s my twist to the usual minions that we usually see :D
he’s part Monopoly man and part “like a sir” meme :D <3
he’s approximately 4 inches tall and is a very sweet little guy despite the very emotionless face :D
THIS IS THE FIRST VIDEO SUBMISSION THAT I’VE RECEIVED!!! Yay! <3
Some of you may already know about my love for work-in-progress photos/videos/stories. To me, the process is just as important as the final piece! I love that this artist took the time to make a video!!! :D

The Tiny Bookworm

It took me so long to finish and it’s my first youtube video! Editing took forever.. I don’t own a tripod so parts toward the end will be a bit wobbly, but I did my best! I hope you all like it! THANK YOU!!
The final work:
PIXEL ART! :D

base and tutorial from here: [x]
Because Tales of Graces f is finally being localized in NA very soon, I decided to pixel Asbel Lhant in his usual outift and also a couple of his alternate costumes! They were very quick and enjoyable to do, I definitely plan to pixel the rest of the characters in the near future, hopefully between now and the March 13th release date! If you feel so inclined, please check out my blog and look under the #pixel tag. (: Also, if you have a PS3 and you like a good rpg and beautiful graphics and character design, go check out Tales of Graces f!
Thanks to Jo for publishing my pixel art (if you do) ! (: <3

March 23rd! The Hunger Games!
I’ve been itching to crochet something related to The Hunger Games since finishing the trilogy last year… I should probably get started on that soon.
I don’t typically even LIKE going to the movie theater, but my friends and I are actually going to camp out for this one. LOL. :P
.
QUESTION:
What are YOU crafting (or buying that’s handmade) to bring to The Hunger Games movie premiere (SUBMIT PICTURES if you can!!!)?
